You will be manufacturing control systems to a proceedure and standard.  You will use your ability to read schematic diagrams and assemble/wire up control panels. 

Experiance with marking out and laying out control panels is desirable.

Use this traineeship as a starting point  to further go on and become a licenced electrician!
